These RADIO towers stand just west of the Albuquerque Balloon Fiesta Park, where I watched fireworks last night, and where, every October, the International Balloon Fiesta is held. During the 2004 Fiesta, the Smokey Bear balloon blew into one of the towers and became caught on it. You can read about it, and see photos of the rescue, HERE.

Excellent idea for the radio theme and a great night shot too. Poor Smokey (and more so his passengers!)
