This bridge, or, more specifically, railroad trestle, is Cascade Trestle. It was built in 1889, is 137 feet high and 408 feet long. It goes across Cascade Creek.

Yikes - the kind of high bridge you see in films and TV, but one you might not want to see by riding over it!
Oooh, great picture! Well, all these train-related photos are great, but I love a good bridge. I've always wanted to take a train ride like this, like the "ski train" that runs from Denver to the Winter Park ski resort. Lived in that area for 6 years and never managed to get on that train, so good for you! Ha.
Awesome shot Linda. I don't know that I could handle the height of that fabulous bridge, let alone hang out of the train for a photo!
Oh my goodness! I don't know if I would have the courage to do that trip after all...
