Rose (123)

*

Albuquerque humidity is running about 9% right now, so you'd never find dew drops (much less, raindrops) on the roses! I admit to having spritzed these drops onto the rose for the sake of the picture.

Lovely shot, Linda. That is my favorite color of rose...

Did you know there's a type of rose called the Cary Grant? I so want to have one of those, one day! (He's my favourite male actor from the golden age of Hollywood).

You've got a lovely colour there - are you into gardening? (such as the climate allows, anyway!)

I am sooooo jealous of the warmth you have! And flowers, OMIG, heaven!

Very pretty Linda, are those your beautiful roses? Moisture drops always look so nice on the flowers, no matter how it gets there. I'd like to try that this summer, if we ever get anything green that is...

great close-up and pretty color as well. My nephew that is in the Airforce is going to be stationed at Holliman AFB in New Mexico. Is that near Albequerque?

Hi Deb. Thanks for all of your nice comments, on this and other of my pics.

Holloman AFB is in the Alamogordo area, not very near to Albuquerque. My husband works on the Kirtland AFB, which is in Albuquerque.
