Trinket (93)

*
Have you ever seen those chocolate eggs, from Germany, with a milk chocolate shell on the outside and a white chocolate coating inside? Break them open and you find a yellow plastic capsule inside that holds some little trinket. I was surprised to open one yesterday and find Sideshow Bob inside! I guess I shouldn't have been so surprised, since I realize that the Simpsons have international celebrity status.

Yes, and while I am not a particular fan of any of the Simpsons...TV show or movie....they did make Springfield, OR, famous.

You know...Springfield...very near Eugene.

You know...Eugene...south of Albany which is south of Salem (Linda KNOWS where Salem is!).

Anyway, I think folks there in Springfeld FEEL famous.

Yes, and Albuquerque also has some fame due to the Simpson's. In one episode of the TV show Springfield sold its baseball team (The Isotopes) to Albuquerque. And, guess what . . .
Albuquerque's minor league team IS The Isotopes! (Used to be The Dukes.)

Cute, I haven't had one of those Kinder eggs in ages, but always liked that chocolate, hope you enjoyed it.

Ah, Kinder eggs... I used to have them as a kid, but hated the chocolate so just wanted the toys!
