It's Been Fun!

You did great! That is quite an accomplishment. It's been great fun seeing your images and your takes on the themes. I'm bookmarking your other blog now...
Thanks, Patty! I just posted fall pictures that I took today, on my other blog. Come see me there. Of course, now and then you'll have to suffer my grandmotherly pride, and see pictures of my Sweetpea.
OK, Desert Dude. I've been waiting a while, hoping you would reconsider and "hitch up your git-a-long" and commit to finishing a wonderful adventure. Most folk know I need more windows in my life to view beauty and good ideas through the eyes and hearts of talented and thoughtful people. Linda's Window has been all of that for me.
I think I understand that offering an unsatisfying product is a downer, but I'm also learning that, being my own worst critic, I often reject stuff others around me claim they like and enjoy. Outside of my own family, Linda, you blog and this string of picture themes has been the only thing I check out every time I lon-on. Now that your photos have dried up, I'm beginning to worry about the possibility that climate change is a real threat and others precious treasures may be endangered too.
No pressure, kid, but I'll be just one among a crowd of celebrants if (after a restful haitus) you take up the challenge again someday.
It HAS been fun and very worth the while. Thanks for all you did post!
I know this post is way overdue, but hopefully you get to read it - otherwise I am just chatting away here to the ether ;-)
Firstly, thank you for doing the blog this far. I must say, you are one of the people I really thought would finish it - but yes, I do understand the stress it can cause - which is daft isn't it!! It's a hobby and therefore meant to be fun and help relieve stress in our lifes - not cause it!!!
I have taken so long to post a response because your final post set off many trains of thought about what I wanted to do. Very useful and I now know that I will continue, but in a very low key way. I won't complete the Challenge, but that is fine.
So, thank you so much. I enjoyed your blog and will be following your new one.
The general idea of this challenge is to take 366 pictures during the year 2008, each one depicting one of the themes listed below. The themes can be taken in random order, and the pictures don't absolutely have to be one per day. If you miss posting a picture one day, it can be made up. The bottom line is that you post 366 pictures spread out over the year and covering all 366 themes.

I must be around 300 pictures behind, I am looking at the 366 as someting I use if the opportunity presents itself.
I really enjoy your photos, and I will definitely link to your other photoblog and follow your photography there.
Thank you for a great challenge.
Thanks for the comments, Julie and Mia. I'll continue to visit your blogs. And I'm glad that you'll stop by Linda's Window now and then.
Whah! I'll miss seeing the world through your creative lens. And those pictures of ABQ. I guess I'll have to switch blogs.

"It's Been Fun!"
Well I sure hope so, otherwise, why do it? :-)
Thanks, best of luck with the new blog, and keeping having fun!
